About Susie Linn

Susie Linn – her author name, taken from her parents' surname.

Susie is an Iowa native and resides in Central City. She holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in behavioral studies. Additionally, she’s completed post-graduate work and obtained secondary administrative and consultant licenses. After twenty-eight years as a high school special education teacher, a career she thoroughly enjoyed, Susie retired and when she’s not traveling, scrapbooking, or bike riding, she likes to spend time with her family, stay abreast on health-related issues, and attend concerts. SEARCH is her first publication. Adoption is near and dear to heart, and she is passionate about her story. It has been a life-long dream of hers to search for her biological mother. Not one to stop in the middle of a quest, she continued by searching for an older brother she hadn’t known existed. Her story would not be complete until she found her biological father. Her memoir is written with integrity and grit and it’s sure to keep you turning the page.

While currently focused on promoting her first book, she plans to continue writing stories inspired by real experiences. Her book, "Search" is a story of family, identity, and the extraordinary journey of finding the people who help complete it.
